UM Women

 

 

 

 

We are a community of women whose purpose is to know God and develop a supportive fellowship with each other. 

 

We work together to raise funds to support the mission programs of the United Methodist Church and give scholarships to the youth of our church in the form of Youth Camps or Youth Covo by having cookie walks, rummage sales and other fund raisers. 

 

We have Sunshine Partners to stay connected to our shut-ins.  We make prayer shawls which are blessed and presented to the sick and help with projects like making baby blankets and caps.  We serve funeral luncheons and so birthday parties at nursing homes.

 

The UMW at Milton United Methodist Church meets as a large group the first Thursday of the month at 1:30 p.m.  This meeting consists of time for business as well as fellowship.  We also offer two smaller groups that meet once a month for fellowship, devotional time, studies and prayers for spiritual growth.  One meeting is held on the first Saturday at 8:00 a.m. and the other is the third Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
