Can you help with Bags of Kindness?

We are coordinating an effort to provide 75 bags of food on Saturday, June 6, to those in need in our community because of the covid-19 pandemic. This is a difficult time, and many find themselves in need of extra help. If you can help with a donation, please click here to read how.

What your church is doing

Although we've made the difficult decision to cancel all in-person activities until further notice, we're still reaching out to you and our community. We are pleased to announce these coming events:

Saturday, May 30 | The Open Table drive-through meal DETAILS TO COME

Saturday, June 6 | Bags of Kindness food distribution DETAILS TO COME

Additionally, we are hosting several online events each week for children and families through our Milton UMC Family Ministries Facebook group

From the pastor

We've often said: The church is not a building. Now, we're getting a chance to live out that reality. As difficult as it is to not gather in public worship each Sunday, this congregation remains active in prayer, reaching out to the community, serving meals, and caring for those who feel disconnected during our response to covid-19. Thank you for visiting this page, for participating in online worship, and for supporting Milton UMC through your prayers, financial contributions and responding to invitations for help. God bless you and your families!

Announcing our next pastor

We are excited to introduce Pastor Jonathan Chinkee Kim, who will become pastor of Milton United Methodist Church on July 1. Pastor Jonathan comes to us having served Bristol and Wesley Chapel United Methodist Churches in Kenosha County and as English ministry pastor at First Korean UMC in Wheeling, Ill. "Just from meeting people at Milton, I can tell there is a vibrancy, passion and hope that has taken shape in the congregation," Pastor Jonathan said. "I am so excited to see what God has in store for us."
