Getting Ready
What do I wear?
Wear what’s comfortable for you! Sundays are pretty casual at Milton UMC, so you don’t need to stress about dressing up.Â
Where do I park?
There is parking right outside the building and you can also park at the Northside Intermediate School Parking Lot.
What do I bring?
Just bring yourself just as you are! There’s coffee and snacks available for fellowship. The pastor encourages people to bring their bible but it’s totally fine if you do not. There are Bibles on the right side of the entrance to the sanctuary and hymns are under the chairs. You can also just use a Bible App.
What about the kids?
We believe in literally growing together in faith as a family. Families come to the worship service together and the pastor will lead a children’s lesson after the singing. Then, the children will go with our Sunday School Coordinator to study the lesson in more depth and have related crafts and activities. During the time of discussion, the children are more than welcome to stay or there will be childcare provided.
Walking In
How will I be greeted?
If you choose to come to our 9AM service, there will be a greater waiting to open the door for you and an usher to hand you a bulletin for worship. For our 10AM collective, we are a much smaller group so you can just come on right in and be greeted in the fellowship hall which is to the right.
How will I know where to go?
There will be signs up in the ceiling to guide you. Our sanctuary is left of our main entrance when you come in and our fellowship hall is to the right.
What do I do if I’m early?
There’s a coffee station at the end of the lobby so help yourself to a cup. There are seats in the lobby as well that you can sit down in. Most people who are early just end up coming into the sanctuary so feel free to come on in.
What do I do if I’m late?
Just come on in! Hey, we understand and the pastor understands.
